Broward County Procession

A spiritual journey honoring the Statue of Our Lady, with prayer and community reflection at 7 different parishes.

Miami-Dade County Procession

A day dedicated to Our Lady’s veneration, visiting 8 parishes, Islas Canarias restaurant, and Sentir Cubano.

Novena: Mary, Beacon of Freedom

Daily Rosary and Mass led by different parishes during this nine-day spiritual preparation for the Feast Day.

Fundraising Marathon

A community-driven effort, supported by radio and TV, to raise funds for the Shrine’s upkeep and mission.

Music and Praise Evening

An evening of Marian-themed music, parish choirs, Catholic musicians, and reflections for spiritual renewal.

  • Time: 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm
  • Rosary: 5:30 pm
  • Mass: 6:00 pm
  • Music and Praise: 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Veneration of the Statue of Our Lady and Artistic Vigil

All-day veneration at the Shrine and Day 9th of the Novena.

  • Time: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Rosary: 6:30 pm
  • Mass: 7:00 pm
  • Artistic Vigil Time: After 9:00 pm Mass – Midnight

Feast Day of Our Lady of Charity

All-day veneration at the Shrine, Rosary and Solemn Mass.

  • Veneration of the Statue: 7:00 AM – 5:00 pm
  • Rosary: 6:00 pm, led by Rev. Manny Alvarez
  • Procession in Honor of Our Lady of Charity: 7:00 PM
  • Solemn Mass: 8:00 PM, celebrated by Archbishop Thomas Wenski, concluding the 2025 celebrations

  • 6:00 pm – Novena Mass (inside the Shrine)
  • 7:00 pm – Marian Evening of Music and Praise (inside the Shrine)

  • Mercy Employees Garage

Sunday, September 7 — Pilgrimage & Vigil

Time:

  • Shrine Grounds: Pedestrian-Only
  • Shrine Temple: Closed until 6:00 pm
  • 🙏 Outdoor Veneration at Malecon Altar (7:00 am – 5:00 pm)
  • 7:00 pm – Final Novena Mass (inside the Shrine)
  • 9:00 pm – Midnight – Artistic Vigil (inside the Shrine)

  • Mercy Employees Garage
  • Bay Parking Lot (enter/exit via ILSHS green gates)

Monday, September 8 — Solemn Feast Day

Time:7:00 am – 11:00 pm

  • Shrine Grounds: Pedestrian-Only
  • Shrine Temple: Closed
  • Outdoor Veneration at Malecon Altar (7:00 am – 5:00 pm)

Evening Celebrations at Bay Parking Lot:

  • 5:00 pm – Shrine Grounds Close; Bay Lot Opens
  • 6:00 pm – Holy Rosary
  • 7:00 pm – Procession
  • 8:00 pm– Solemn Mass

Parking Guidelines:

  • Mercy Employees Garage throughout the day (as available)
  • On-street parking near Shrine
  • ILSHS Science Lot (across St. Kieran): Clergy & Religious Only
  • Bay Lot Green Area: Event Staff Only
  • Shrine Inner Circle Lot: VIPs Only
  • Note: Bay Lot closed during the day for Mass setup
